Washington's My Health My Data Act treats some biometric data as "consumer health data". This policy explains how Still My Home, Inc. handles it. Our Biometric Data Policy and Privacy Policy have more detail.
- What we collect, and why. During our identity check, our provider Didit Identity, Inc. collects images of your face and your photo ID, and measures the shape of your face (face geometry). We use this only to confirm your identity, review the result, keep a record of who completed the check, and detect fraud. Didit keeps the images until 12 months after your membership ends, and never more than 24 months after the check, and doesn't keep a face template.
- Where it comes from. From you, during the identity check.
- What we share. We share it only when you ask us to in writing, such as with your own attorney if someone used your identity, or when a law, or a warrant or subpoena issued by a court, requires it. Didit handles it for us as our processor, under a contract that limits its use to our checks.
- Third parties and affiliates we share it with. Only people you ask us in writing to share it with (such as your attorney), and courts or government agencies when the law requires it. No affiliates.
- Your rights. You can ask us to confirm whether we collected this data, to see it and a list of anyone who received it, to delete it, or to withdraw your consent. Email help@stillmyhome.com, or use "Withdraw biometric consent" in your account settings. We answer within 45 days. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer, and we answer the appeal within 45 days. If we deny your appeal, you can contact the Washington Attorney General at atg.wa.gov.
